I've said before that I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, and I thought it was time to feature another lovely lady from the wizarding world. Fleur Delacour, played by Clemence Poesy, didn't have as large a part in the film series as she did in the books, but in her few appearances, she looked incredible.
Blue is her signature color, with a bit of grey mixed in. She's the quintessential chic French lady, and it's easy to channel her look.
There are a lot of blogger conferences coming up - BlogHer starts this week, and both IFBcon and LuckyFABB are during Fashion Week in September. Attendees are going to want to look impeccably stylish, but stay comfortable enough to make it through those long days. And comfy shoes are a MUST. So here's a chic-yet-easy outfit that will definitely make an impression at a stylish conference.
As I get older, I get invited to fewer and fewer bachelorette parties - now my life is filled with baby showers - but when I used to attend them all the time, I'd always have a hard time deciding what to wear. I've never been the type to wear something "clubby" (i.e. a sequined mini-dress and sky-high heels), but I still wanted to look festive and evening-appropriate. So here's a look for those of us who want to party it up without having to wear clubwear.
For the third week of my partnership with Intel Ultrabook™, we're talking bling. I love browsing for jewelry online with my Ultrabook™, but I really get inspiration from seeing it in context, by which I mean as a part of a cohesive look. So, today, I'm sharing with you the jewelry of some of my favorite style bloggers. Check out how these lovely ladies integrate jewelry into their outfits:

This is the perfect business casual look - bright, feminine, but professional. I have to wonder, though, if Kate ever gets sick of looking so proper. Do you think she has a secret wish to wear a bandage dress and platforms?
Last week, after a disgusting, stifling heat wave, the weather finally dipped into the 70's, and I couldn't have been happier. I even wore ankle boots on Friday, which inspired me to incorporate a pair into this outfit. But if the heat wave returns and you still want to wear a similar look, go ahead and swap the boots for some summery sandals.
Florence does a really good job of taking her on-stage persona and dressing it down for everyday. This look is still 100% Flo, but the rest of us could wear it without looking silly.
Every time I see a photo of Anne, I feel like she's just consumed with regret about her haircut. I feel like I can see it on her face. But I think it looks great, and her outfit is super-cute too.
I'll always have a special place in my heart for the original 90210, probably because I was in high school at the same time as Brenda, Brandon, Kelly, Donna, Dylan, and the rest of the gang. The clothes are so (sososososo) dated, but you know what?
With a few updates, you can rock the West Beverly High style today.
My toes have been painted different pastels and brights all summer: mint, aqua, coral, yellow. But I'm ready for a change, and I'm really digging Essie's Mirror Metallics. I think my favorite is No Place Like Chrome. It's hard to tell from the image below, but it looks rad on the nails.
I know that most of us try to look our best every day, but there are times when you really need to impress. If it's a very special event, or if you're going to be the center of attention (or if your ex-boyfriend is going to be there with his new girlfriend - yikes), well, you want to look your best, and most importantly, feel your best. Here's an outfit that will help you stand out, get noticed, and feel amazing.
I finally got around to seeing Moonrise Kingdom yesterday, and I loved it. It was the quintessential Wes Anderson film: funny and sad, quirky, and visually impeccable. The movie takes place in 1965, on an idyllic New England island, and the costumes on the cast of strange characters were just perfect.
Here are some stylish items inspired by not just the fashion in this delightful movie, but by the movie itself.
I'm surprised at how much I like this - although I will go on record to say that I don't understand the half-tuck. Anyone want to explain to me how this became all the rage?
I'm really bad about checking the weather before I leave the house, so I often get stuck in a summer downpour wearing sandals. And if there's one thing I hate, it's having wet feet. Shudder. So maybe I should invest in some cute waterproof duck shoes.
On Monday, I featured some sultry backless dresses. Today, I'm featuring some slinky backless tops. Wear them with skinny jeans or maxi skirts for a laid-back sexy feel.
We all have those days, right? Those days when the last thing you want to do is think about your outfit before you walk out the door, the days when you're running late or are just completely uninspired. But instead of defaulting to jeans and a tee, why not slip on an easy dress and sandals? It takes almost no time to put on, and you'll look a lot more put-together.
Whenever I see photos of celebrities bumming around in sweatpants and Uggs, I want to tell them that it's still possible to look put-together when running errands. And Kiki here is proof of that. Her outfit is comfy, lightweight, and super-cute.
